The Toit Stuff (about sitcoms)

   1 Pilot-The ep that started it all! I love how everyone is introduced and how you might have your own ideas of what they’ll be like based on your first impressions but how they defy and subvert expectations in the best way. The chemistry between the cast is already so good and it’s cute to see Jake and Amy flirting and giving each other heart eyes even when they’re teasing and competing.😊 I like that Holt’s already starting to let loose and feel comfortable around the squad as he proves he’s not always serious by getting the squad to come in when Jake’s in his speedo and it’s really cool when Jake starts to understand why wearing ties is so important to Holt and I love how it sets up the fact that they’re already a supportive team. 7/10.   2 The tagger-This ep’s quite interesting for teasing a will they/won’t they with Rosa and Charles, as his crush on her would lead most people to think that they’d get together at some point.    S3 1 New Captain – It’s a new season and as the title suggests, the 99 has a new captain! Even if he’s only the captain for a day, Dozerman is a pretty funny, memorable character and the bit about playing backgammon always cracks me up, as does the pep talk that Gina gives to Holt about her reality show and fragrance line while he’s in a pigeon costume and all the scenes about naming the pigeon. It was so cute to see Jake and Amy talking about their kiss and I love that despite the fact that they initially decide to keep things chill and take it slow, they sleep together after their adorable first date that night, and make out in secret before finally deciding to be a real, official couple. 😊 It was so awesome that despite all that happened with Dozerman’s heart attack and any doubts they had about rushing into something, they both knew that they’d never want to be with anyone else and that they wanted to be together more than anything .<3 Boyle shipping them was the biggest moo
